Zomato Co-founder, Chief Technology Officer Gunjan Patidar Resigns

Indian online food delivery company Zomato Ltd. said its Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer Gunjan Patidar resigned.

Patidar was one of the first few employees of Zomato and built the core tech systems for the company, Zomato said in a stock exchange announcement. It didn’t disclose the reason for his resignation.

Zomato said Patidar has nurtured a stellar tech leadership team that is capable of taking on the leading the tech function going forward, without providing the details about his replacement.

This is the third important resignation at the company in less than three months. In November 2022, Zomato’s another Co-founder Mohit Gupta had resigned, following the resignation of Rahul Ganjoo, head of new initiatives at the company.
