Wipro Appoints Aparna Iyer As CFO After Jatin Dalal Resigns

Wipro Ltd. appointed Aparna Iyer as chief financial officer, effective 22 September, following the resignation of Jatin Dalal.

Iyer will join the Wipro Executive Board and report to Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Thierry Delaporte, the Indian technology services and consulting company said in a stock exchange announcement.

The company said Iyer, a chartered accountant and a gold medalist of the CA 2002 batch, has deep expertise in financial risk management, capital allocation, fund raising, driving business strategy and growth.

Iyer joined Wipro in April 2003 and over her two decades with the company, she has held several finance roles, including internal audit, business finance, finance planning and analysis, corporate treasury and investor relations, it added.

Most recently, Iyer served as senior vice president and CFO of Wipro FullStride Cloud.

Wipro said Dalal, who is stepping down as CFO to pursue other career opportunities, will be relieved from the services of the company with effect from 30 November.
