RattanIndia Power Ltd. said its Managing Director Brijesh Narendra Gupta resigned with effect from today.

Gupta resigned from the company due to personal reasons, the energy producer said in a stock exchange announcement.

He was appointed as managing director of the company in July 2022 following resignation of Vibhav Agarwal.

The company didn’t give the details about new managing director.

RattanIndia Power is one of India’s largest private power generation company, with installed capacity of 2,700-megawatt (MW) thermal power plants at Amravati and Nashik (1,350-MW at each location) in the western state of Maharashtra, according to its website.

The company, whose power plants are spread over an area of 2,400 acres, counts Goldman Sachs and Varde Partners as investors in the business.
