Nykaa Appoints P. Ganesh As Chief Financial Officer

FSN E-Commerce Ventures Ltd., operator of beauty and personal care marketplace Nykaa, appointed P. Ganesh as its chief financial officer to further strengthen its financial operations and key long-term business strategies.

The appointment is effective from 3 February 2023, Nykaa said in a stock exchange statement. Ganesh is a chartered accountant, cost and management accountant and company secretary with over 27 years of diverse industry experience in the domestic and international markets, it added.

Currently, Ganesh is CFO at TAFE Group, a leading manufacturer and marketer of tractors in India, according to the statement. Previously, he has held leadership roles in India and overseas with the Godrej Group, Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd. and Pidilite Industries Ltd., it said.

Nykaa Founder and Chief Executive Officer Falguni Nayar said Ganesh’s rich financial experience as well as knowledge about the Indian financial market and insights into international markets will be valuable in guiding the group’s journey as a leader in beauty and lifestyle omni-channel retail.

Nykaa, which was founded in 2012 by Nayar, sells beauty, wellness and fashion products across websites, mobile apps and over 100 physical stores.
