Indiabulls Real Estate Appoints Atul Chandra As COO

Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd. said its board appointed Atul Chandra as chief operating officer of the company.

The appointment of Chandra, who joined the company as senior vice president in April 2021, is effective from 28 August, the Indian real estate developer said in a stock exchange announcement.

Chandra has over 24 years of experience in various domains of real estate development and asset management, audit, accounting, investment advisory, banking and the financial services industry, it added.

Before joining Indiabulls Real Estate, Chandra was associated with Samsara Finance Private Ltd. as chief investment officer and Capri Global Capital Ltd. as associate director. He has also worked with ICICI Bank, Union Bank of India and Corporation Bank.

Chandra, a chartered accountant, holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Jiwaji University, Gwalior, according to the statement.
