Gulf Oil Lubricants Reappoints MD & CEO Ravi Chawla

Gulf Oil Lubricants India Ltd. said its board reappointed Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Ravi Chawla for another three years.

The reappointment, effective from 6 June, is subject to approval of the shareholders, the Indian lubricant maker said in a stock exchange announcement.

The company said Chawla, who has over 33 years of professional experience, has more than 23 years’ experience in the lubricants area. He has been leading Gulf Oil Lubricants India’s lubricant business for over 15 years it added.

Chawla holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Sydenham College, and a master’s degree in management studies (specializing in marketing) from the University of Mumbai, according to the statement.
