Godrej Consumer Appoints Tata Executive Aasif Malbari As CFO

Godrej Consumer Products Ltd. appointed Aasif Malbari as chief financial officer, replacing Sameer Shah, effective 10 August.

Malbari is currently CFO of Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Ltd. and director of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd., Indian consumer goods company said in a stock exchange announcement.

He has been an integral part of the leadership team at Tata Motors since joining in 2018, it added.

Malbari, a chartered account and company secretary, has worked in roles ranging from business partnering, buying, planning & logistics, controllership, treasury, and investor relations over the 23 years of his career, according to the statement.

Godrej Consumer said its current CFO Sameer Shah will move to a group role, leading consumer investments.
