Albert David Legal Head A.B. Chakrabartty Resigns

Albert David Ltd. said its Company Secretary and Compliance Officer-cum-Legal Head A.B. Chakrabartty resigned to pursue career opportunity outside the organization.

He will continue to discharge his duties until the close of business hours on 19 January 2024 to facilitate smooth transition, the Indian pharmaceuticals company said in a stock exchange announcement.

The resignation of Chakrabartty comes within a year following his appointment to the position on 4 February 2023.

The company, which accepted Chakrabartty's resignation, didn’t provide the details about his successor.

Kolkata-based Albert David, a part of Kothari Group, makes pharmaceutical formulations, infusion solutions, herbal dosage forms and bulk drugs, according to its website.
