Jubilant Pharmova Recommends Appointing Walker Chandiok As Statutory Auditor

Jubilant Pharmova Ltd. said its board recommended appointment of Walker Chandiok & Co LLP as the statutory auditor of the company.

Walker Chandiok will hold the position from the conclusion of the company’s upcoming 45th annual general meeting (AGM) to the conclusion of the 50th AGM, subject to the approval of the shareholders, the Indian drugmaker said in a stock exchange announcement.

Jubilant Pharmova said BSR & Co LLP, the present statutory auditor of the company, will complete its term of two consecutive five years at the conclusion of the company’s ensuing 45th AGM.

Walker Chandiok, a chartered accountant firm has over 60 partners and 1,700 staff, according to the statement. The firm has wide presence across India (12 locations and 14 offices), it said.
