TT&A advised Standard Chartered Bank (StanChart) in providing a term loan facility of $15 million to Route Mobile Ltd.’s UK-based subsidiary.

The financing to Route Mobile (UK) Ltd. is credit enhanced by a guarantee provided by the company’s Indian parent, a leading enterprise communications service provider, the law firm said in a statement.

TT&A said it acted as the Indian counsel to Standard Chartered Bank in its financing to Route Mobile, after the advent of the new regime around overseas investments introduced by the Reserve Bank of India on 22 August 2022.

Sonali Mahapatra, Nidhir Rani, Rashi Jain and Piyal Shaikh were part of the team advising the British banking behemoth in the transaction.
