RCom Creditors To Meet Tomorrow

Reliance Communications Ltd. (RCom) said its committee of creditors will meet tomorrow (29 November).

This will be the 43rd meeting of the committee of creditors, the bankrupt telecom operator’s Company Secretary Rakesh Gupta said in a stock exchange announcement. He didn’t provide further details.

RCom, whose Chief Financial Officer Viswanath Devaraja Rao recently resigned, is under corporate insolvency resolution process pursuant to the provisions of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code 2016, according to the statement.

The company’s affairs, business and assets are being managed by the Resolution Professional Anish Niranjan Nanavaty with effect from 28 June 2019.

Nanavaty was appointed by the Mumbai bench of the National Company Law Tribunal via an order dated 21 June 2019.
