Mercator Liquidator Girish Juneja Seeks Claim Details From Stakeholders

Mercator Ltd.’s Liquidator Girish Juneja is seeking claim details from the company’s stakeholders by 7 April.

The claim details must be submitted along with proof, Juneja said in a public announcement. The email to be used for correspondence is liquidator.mercator@gmail.com, he added.

The development came after the Mumbai bench of the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) on 21 February ordered the commencement of liquidation of Mercator and appointed its Resolution Professional Juneja to act as the liquidator of the company.

The insolvency resolution process of the company, formerly known as Mercator Lines Ltd., closed on 20 February. The group has diversified business interests in coal, oil & gas, transportation and dredging.
