Vedanta Acting CFO Ajay Goel Resigns

Vedanta Ltd. said its Acting Chief Financial Officer Ajay Goel resigned to pursue career outside the group.

The resignation of Goel, who took charge in October 2021, will be effective from close of business hours on 9 April, the Indian natural resources conglomerate said in a stock exchange announcement.

The company will announce the details of his successor in due course, it added.

Vedanta also said its board approved a fifth interim dividend of 20.50 rupees per share, amounting to 7,621 crore rupees ($926 million), for FY23.

The record date for the payment of dividend is 7 April, and the interim dividend will be paid within the stipulated timelines prescribed under the law, according to the statement.
