Bandhan Bank CFO Sunil Samdani Resigns

Bandhan Bank Ltd. said its Chief Financial Officer Sunil Samdani resigned to explore professional opportunities outside the bank.

Samdani, who resigned on 3 July, will work with the lender until 30 September, Bandhan Bank said in a stock exchange announcement.

The bank is in the process of identifying a candidate for the CFO position and the appointment will be done in due course, it added.

Bandhan Bank started its operations on 23 August 2015 with a bouquet of products for customers in all segments following its transformation into a universal bank in India from a microfinance entity.

The lender is now present in 34 of the 36 states and union territories in India with 6,000 banking outlets serving more than three crore customers.
