Alok Industries Ltd. said its Chief Financial Officer Vinod Sureka resigned to pursue career opportunities outside the company.

The resignation of Sureka, who joined the company last year, will be effective from the close of business hours on 1 June, the integrated textile manufacturer said in a stock exchange announcement.

The company didn’t provide the details about Sureka’s successor.

Founded in 1986, Alok Industries is one of India’s largest vertically integrated textile manufacturer offering end-to-end solutions through its five core divisions, namely home textiles, cotton yarn, apparel fabric, garments, and polyester yarn, according to its website.

A majority of Alok's production is exported to significant markets in more than 90 countries, it said.
