IIFL Finance Ltd. said its board appointed Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu India LLP to assist the company’s internal audit team to conduct risk-based internal audit for FY24.

The appointment is based on the recommendation of the audit committee, the non-bank lender said in a stock exchange announcement. Deloitte will assist the internal audit team on agreed terms and conditions, it added.

Deloitte has been operating in India since 1995 and it is recognized as one of the country's leading professional services firms, with over 12,000 professional staff, according to the statement.
