Reliance Communications' Creditors To Meet Today

Reliance Communications Ltd. (RCom) said its committee of creditors will meet today.

This will be the 39th meeting of the company’s committee of creditors, the bankrupt telecom operator’s Company Secretary Rakesh Gupta said in a stock exchange announcement. He didn’t provide further details.

RCom is under corporate insolvency resolution process pursuant to the provisions of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code 2016, according to the statement.

The company’s affairs, business and assets are being managed by the Resolution Professional Anish Niranjan Nanavaty with effect from 28 June 2019. Nanavaty was appointed by the Mumbai bench of the National Company Law Tribunal via an order dated 21 June 2019.
