(The Corner Office Journal) -- ACME Solar Holdings Ltd. appointed Rajat Kumar Singh as the group chief financial officer, replacing Purushottam Kejriwal, amid an internal restructuring.

Singh has over three decades’ experience across the energy, transport, infrastructure, and real estate sectors, the renewable energy producer said in a stock exchange announcement.

His expertise lies in identifying and capitalizing on opportunities within regulated industries, including conventional and renewable energy, toll/annuity roads, airports, urban transport, manufacturing, logistics, and real estate, it added.

ACME Solar said before joining the company, Singh worked with Lodha Group as the president of finance. Previously, he has also worked with Adani Group, Reliance Infrastructure Ltd. GMR Infrastructure Ltd. (now known as GMR Airports Ltd.), Steel Authority of India Ltd. and DCM Shriram Ltd., it noted.

Singh holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Technology (chemical technology) from Harcourt Butler Technological Institute, Kanpur and a Master’s in Business Administration from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar, according to the statement.

The company said the changes are effective from today 20 May.

ACME Solar, however, said Kejriwal will continue to play an active role in the company’s leadership, bringing the benefit of his deep institutional knowledge and experience to ongoing financial and strategic matters.
